He is also responsible for ensuring that the quality of the Stonebridge Stewart service remains of the highest standard and will want to know immediately if you have any worries or concerns.
Steve looks after a portfolio of clients covering a wide range of businesses and personal cases. His strengths lie in his understanding of the pressures of being in business having spent time on secondment in industry on various assignments over the years. Steve is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Steve is married to Carol and a father of 5 children. He is an ardent Tranmere Rovers fan and can be seen on the terraces at most home games. He is also an excellent cook and enjoys spending his weekends in the kitchen.
Jenny is the Practice Director at Stonebridge Stewart, responsible for the in house management of the firm.
She started working in the chartered accountancy profession in 1987 when she joined Deloitte Haskins & Sells in London as PA to one of the tax partners. She worked there for four years before transferring to the Liverpool office of Coopers & Lybrand. A brief spell there was followed by two years at Grant Thornton. With some time out to help her husband establish his own business and bring up two children, she rejoined the profession in 2005 as Practice Manager at Stonebridge Stewart.
Jenny is married with two children and spends a lot of her spare time watching them pursuing their hobbies of rugby and music. She also enjoys running and has been a school governor for many years.
Chrissie is a Manager at Stonebridge Stewart, and strives to help clients with all their financial and business needs. Having previously worked in large Liverpool-based accountancy practices, she brings over twelve years' worth of experience to the firm.
Chrissie was a fully qualified AAT by the time she was 21 and, having taken time away from her studies to focus on her three young sons, hopes to complete her final two ACCA exams in the future.
Most of her spare time is taken up caring for her boys but when she has a moment she loves to cook and keep fit by going to the gym and swimming - either with or without her sons!
Carrian joined the team in June 2010 after having spent nine years working for a smaller firm in Wales. Carrian qualified as an AAT Technician in 2003 and received a diploma in payroll in 2005. After a period of maternity leave, she has renewed her knowledge by getting her certificate in Sage Payroll and Sage Line 50 software and completing a bookkeeping module. Her duties include the preparation of Accounts and Tax Returns.
Carrian lives with her long-standing partner and their son and two daughters in North Wales. She enjoys camping and caravanning and getting together with friends.
Rosie worked for the Corporate Office of Royal Bank of Scotland in Liverpool for 11 years before leaving to start a family in 2003. Having taken a career break, she joined Stonebridge Stewart in December 2010 as a Receptionist.
After a year in that role, Rosie decided she would like to consolidate earlier qualifications gained in bookkeeping and has now achieved AAT Level 3. She has also made the career move to Bookkeeper within Stonebridge Stewart.
Rosie is married to Barry and they have 2 daughters. They enjoy spending weekends in North Wales in the beautiful Snowdonia countryside. She also enjoys entertaining and loves getting together with family and friends.
Pauline joined Stonebridge Stewart in November 2013 whilst studying for her AAT Level 4 qualification and is now a qualified Accounting Technician.
Having worked in Financial Services for many years, she then followed this by completing a Masters Degree.
Pauline is married to Mark, has two children and is active within their schools. She also spends one morning a week volunteering for a charity, the Roy Castle Lung Foundation. Pauline enjoys participating in most sports (giving rugby a miss!) and enjoys entertaining, music and theatre.
Jack joined Stonebridge Stewart in September 2012 as a Trainee Accountant under the Apprenticeship framework and is working towards his AAT Level 4 qualification, having achieved Level 3 in Summer 2014.
Fulfilling a long-held desire to train as an Accountant, ATTS College recommended a number of candidates and Jack successfully applied to Stonebridge Stewart in the Summer of 2012.
Jack is a keen footballer, playing for a local league and enjoys keeping his fitness levels up by running and going to the gym. Another fervent Evertonian, he enjoys going to as many matches as he can to support his team.
Leigh joined Stonebridge Stewart in November 2011 as a full-time Trainee Administrator/Receptionist under the Apprenticeship framework and has successfully achieved her NVQ2 and NVQ3 qualifications in Business Administration at Wirral Metropolitan College.
Her success has been such that Leigh is now our Practice Administrator, responsible for all the front of house services at Stonebridge Stewart and many of the administrative services, including some bookkeeping.
Leigh spends her spare time with family, friends and her boyfriend and enjoys socialising with them. She also enjoys swimming and keeping fit.
